Ollie joined Haverhill Golf Club in September 2012 as Assistant Professional. Since then he has graduated from the PGA and was awarded East Region Assistant of The Year during his final year. He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Sports Coaching from Birmingham University. He was the first professional in Suffolk to complete the UKCC Level 3 Coaching Certificate. He maintains his AA PGA status by continuing CPD learning in order to keep up-to-date with current best practice.

Ollie is passionate about improving the performance of both elite golfers and those new to the game. He worked as a full time coach between 2017 and 2020 and increased participation in all areas of HGC membership. He has something to offer for all golfers – experienced or beginners. Ollie has increased the number of active juniors with the Sharpshooter Junior Golf Programme. He introduced “Love.Golf” for women and England Golf’s “Get Into Golf” programme for men. Ollie uses a state-of-the-art GC Quad launch monitor to give measured assessment and feedback to his customers.

Ollie became HGC Club Professional in June 2020 and now runs the retail side and membership services side of the business too. The shop has been renovated and the club now has a purpose-built, high-tech Swing Studio for lessons, club fitting and simulator play. Ollie is a member of Foremost buying group which means he can source almost every golf product on the market and sells at very competitive prices. He always offers the very best customer service. Ollie sits on many of HGC committees as an advisor alongside the management team and is passionate about developing the club.
