Haverhill Golf Club in Suffolk is perfectly located 20 miles east of Cambridge, 17 miles south west of Bury St Edmunds, 18 miles north of Braintree and some 30 miles north west of Colchester. The club offers easy access from major routes including the M11, A11, A14, A1307 and A120.
The 18-hole course, lying across two valleys, is set in pleasant parkland with views across rural Suffolk and Essex. The front nine with its undulating fairways is admirably complemented by a saucer shaped back nine which is bisected by the River Stour as it meanders through a course with greens reputed to be among the best in the county. It presents a challenge to members and visitors alike and the course is a popular venue for visiting clubs and societies.
Visitors are welcome to play at Haverhill Golf Club on any day, and can be sure of a friendly environment to enjoy a challenging round of golf. You do not have to be a top level golfer to enjoy a day to remember at Haverhill Golf Club.
There are three tees to each hole providing interesting challenges. The white tees extend the course to over 6,000 yards, with the yellow and red tees decreasing respectively. We ask all players to observe the rules of golf and regulations of the club to ensure a good pace of play. If you require help or advice on any aspect of this, please check with the Pro Shop or Office when making your booking.
Green fees vary depending on the time of year and the day of the week with cheaper rates available at certain times and as the seasons change. Junior visitors are welcomed and have access to very competitive green fee charges.
